and then there is ava ruth

This girl, with her oh-so-soft voice and sweet ways is pure delight.

Ava is smart & creative, kind & caring, tough, strong & social. Today I asked her to switch the laundry for me, she had no problem --did it all on her own. She regularly (as in several times a day) changes her clothes, putting the old outfit away. I am continually amazed at her abilities.

Ava is so beautiful; we are teaching her that it is a smile and a happy heart that make a girl truly pretty (conversely, a grumbling-whiny heart is ugly!). I am learning so much from these lessons!

We are so thankful for and blessed by Ava; we earnestly pray that the Lord will give us all that we need to parent her well.

Wow, you take amazing photograph. Pump out a coffee-table-book through Blurb, and I'll buy two! Oh, and your kid is perfect too.

As one who sits behind her in church every Lord's day, I can attest to her sweet spirit and kind heart! We love your kids!

I won't even mention how her appearance matches her lovely personality! She's a little dolly!!

Thanks Robert, I am so glad to know who you are (after a little investigation :). At first, I was a little worried! And you are right, Mike does a wonderful job with pictures but he would tell you it is all the camera! (and then sell it to you of course.)

How fun to think of Ava ready all your nice comments when she is older! Thank you friends!

Loving Ava! You're smart to keep her from Robert until she's a little older. It's just safer for everyone that way! :)

I loved reading about how you are teaching Ava about beautiful girlhood/womanhood. Since reading this, Mercy and I have been talking about this. And I too love how God is continuing to teach me as I train her!
