We went to our little town’s annual parade on Saturday.
The kids love the candy they score.
I love the veterans and cry at every emergency vehicle and the big bands. (I don't know why)
Ethan liked this guy the best (he wants to be a “motorcycle guy” when he grows up).
I thought this was funny.
Poor baby.
It was fun to see friends. Steele and Adia’s Grandpa in the bucket of the ladder truck.
And our favorite, the Jazzercise ladies!
Everyone had a good time.
Well, not quite everyone (these are the fellas that follow the horses…).

Those a great pictures!
Doesn't it look like the baby is used to the noise? I've heard, though, that sometimes babies fall asleep as a defense mechanism, when there's sensory overload. Maybe that's what's happening to this babe.
Looks like you all had fun. :)
ha! That baby had to ride on her papa's back 'cause her mama was dancing with the Jazzercise ladies!
I also love that in one of those pictures you can see more of my family's faces than yours. Funny.
I seem to remember C completely mesmerized by men on motorcycles, she was much littler than A.
Looks like you all had fun!
I know that poor baby. His dad Brian and momma Wendy are Ferndale alumni and that kids has no chance but to be a band geek some day.
In other shock, that is one awesome garden. I'm totally impressed. It's like Proverbs 31 in action!
Oh, and I cry at the bands too....why do we do that??
Hi Kami.
I would love to know why the bands make me cry. It is ridiculous!
I also cried for the veterans as I explained to the boys what they were and every time an emergency vehicle ran their sirens.
The crazy part for me is that I don't cry that easily over things that really matter!
I'm blaming hormones.
Thanks for the nice comments.
