a typical morning

Let me break it down:
* Ethan is learning a new math concept; I am helping him.
* Luke and I are reading his grammar lesson.
* Luke is also picking blocks up off the floor and putting them on Justus' tray (it is easier for a boy to retain information when his hands are busy).
* Ava is coloring her math page.
* Aidan just finished a typing game on the computer.
* Justus is throwing the blocks at me and complaining about his buckled in situation.

It's crazy. It is a bit tiring. But man, is it worth it. And it's fun too.

Amy... you amaze me! You are an incredible mom and from the looks of it, you are a great organizer!

I keep thinking about this picture and there's just one thing that bothers me: I really think you need a cozy chair right in that spot where you're sitting, so then you can get up off the floor and sit in it!

Love you, friend.

Oh, and I love that last picture of Ava-- all hunkered down over her work with her wispy blonde hair and sitting in her chair like that with her legs tucked up under her. And that little skirt!

She's just pure cuteness! And such a busy little homeschooling student. :)

I am thrilled to know that I am not the only one who has my little ones strapped in their high chairs for a good portion of our homeschooling~ whipping cream on the tray keeps them busy for a long time...

I like to see home-school moms smiling! Have you been talking to Maile about school stuff? You two should be in better touch.
