What this is all about
Originally this was going to be a blog where I shared my opinions about stuff. Then it became a place where we post pictures and discuss things we want to remember. So we consider this to be primarily for our family; sort of a virtual scrapbook. This is also for people that care about us and want to keep up with how much our kids are changing & how much weight we've gained (and lost!)

Yeah, that first picture of Ava is precious. You should know that until I return to the northwest, it will fall on you to coach her to ball up her hands into fists and bring them up a little closer to her face and then shake them. Then...you know...as time goes on, you can teach her to squeal the phrase "Goody goody gumdrops". We must uphold this important family tradition. She is already showing signs that she is the chosen one to carry on the legacy.
